1. Performs psychiatric diagnostic evaluations or evaluation management services, with written report to determine diagnosis, functioning level(s), treatment recommendations and/or other health or developmental needs of clients.
2. Prescribes prescriptive drugs in accordance with WV Code (Chapters 29 and 30) and related legislative rules in collaboration with a psychiatrist licensed to practice medicine in West Virginia.  
3. Administers or orders diagnostic testing and laboratory tests as needed and evaluates results of same.  
4. Provides brief diagnostic evaluations and evaluation management services with written reports of the client’s health care problems/needs and review of medications.  
5. Consults with staff and other healthcare providers as requested.  
6. Participates in treatment team meetings and reviews and approves treatment plans prior to implementation of services.  
7. Documents services provided as required.  
8. Provide crisis intervention and emergency services. 
9. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
